[DMANET] Let's SCIP it! A workshop to celebrate 20 years of Solving Constraint Integer Programs

Let's SCIP it! A workshop to celebrate 20 years of Solving Constraint
Integer Programs

on November 4, 2022, at Zuse Institute Berlin

Since its inception 20 years ago, SCIP (https://scipopt.org) has become
one of the most versatile solvers and frameworks for research in mixed
integer optimization. The first recorded commit message documenting the
start of SCIP's development dates back to October 23, 2002. High time to
come together and discuss past, present and future developments!

The spotlight will be on SCIP, but the workshop welcomes a broad
audience interested in computational optimization and its theoretical
underpinnings.

We are excited to host two invited presentations by

- Merve Bodur, University of Toronto, on "Methodological Advances in
Two-stage Stochastic Programming"

- Domenico Salvagnin, Università di Padova on "A fix-propagate-repair
heuristic for Mixed Integer Programming"

and many talks on computational mixed integer optimization.

Find more information on programme and registration at the workshop webpage

We hope to see many of you in Berlin!

The organizing committee, on behalf of the entire SCIP team:

Ambros Gleixner, Zuse Institute and HTW Berlin
Marc Pfetsch, TU Darmstadt
Sebastian Pokutta, Zuse Institute Berlin and TU Berlin
Franziska Schlösser, Zuse Institute Berlin
