[DMANET] Junior Professorship for Discrete Optimization

The Research Institute for Discrete Mathematics of the University of
Bonn invites applications for a

Junior Professorship for Discrete Optimization (W1)
(tenure track).

The Research Institute for Discrete Mathematics is a central scientific
institution of the University of Bonn. In research and teaching it is
engaged in methods and algorithms in Discrete Optimization, and in
particular with their application to designing highly complex chips and
microprocessors. In this context, the institute has established very
successful, long-term and extensive industrial cooperations.

We are looking for a young academic who has solid experience in the
application of Discrete Optimization to chip design. Experience with
large research projects and industrial cooperations would be beneficial.

Equally qualified women will be preferred according to the
"Landesgleichstellungsgesetz". Severely disabled applicants will be
preferred if equally qualified.
