[DMANET] PhD fellowship in Chemical Graph Theory

The University of Primorska in Koper, at the Adriatic coast of Slovenia, announces one PhD Fellowship in Mathematics under the supervision of Prof Dragan Stevanovic.

The training of the PhD fellow will take place within a team that will create new mathematical software for QSAR studies in chemistry. Excellent programming capabilities (C, Java, web interface) are therefore expected. The software will also be used in mathematical research of graph theoretical invariants of interest in chemistry.

Applicants should have a B.Sc. or equivalent training in Mathematics or Computer Science, and are expected to enroll in the PhD program.

The PhD fellowships are free of tuition fee. Applicants can expect a monthly gross salary of 1368 euro - net salary is between 900 and 1000 euros, while monthly student living expenses are between 400 and 500 euros.
