The EATCS-IPEC Nerode Prize
For Outstanding Papers in Multivariate Algorithmics

The EATCS-IPEC Nerode Prize is an annual prize for outstanding work in multivariate algorithmics and parameterized complexity, published in a recognized refereed journal by an individual or a team of authors. The Prize is named in honor of Anil Nerode in recognition of his major contributions to mathematical logic, theory of automata, computability, and complexity theory.
The Call for Nominations for 2019 EATCS-IPEC Nerode Prize is open. Please send your nomination via emails to the Prize Committee Chair Jianer Chen at chen@cse.tamu.edu<mailto:chen@cse.tamu.edu> no later than March 15, 2019. The nomination should contain a brief summary of the technical content of the nominated paper and a brief explanation of its significance. The Subject line of the nomination E-mail should contain the group of words "Nerode Prize Nomination".
Note that the past rules that require a certain number of years before/after the publication of the nominated paper have been removed. Thus, nominations for any past work in this area that you feel deserves the recognition will be welcome.
The award will be presented with the presentation taking place at ALGO/IPEC 2019 (The 14th International Symposium on Parameterized and Exact Computation), which will be held on September 11-13, 2019 in Munich, Germany.
