The registration for WINE 2021 is open:

We encourage on-site participation but virtual participation is also
allowed.
The current travel regulations allow for a quarantine-free travel to
Germany from almost every country given that the traveler is vaccinated
against COVID-19 or recently recovered. Hotels in Potsdam and Berlin
require a vaccination or recovery certificate (in some places also
officially certified quick tests suffice) and the same
(vaccination/recovery certificate or official quick test on a day-to-day
basis) will be needed for on-site admission to WINE 2021. We will do our
best to create a safe situation for all on-site participants by adhering
to the official social distancing and mask wearing rules. (See the
registration website for more details.)
Note that the social distancing rules also imply that we can only admit
a limited number of on-site participants. Hence, we encourage on-site
participants to register as early as possible! The registration for
on-site participants will close on November 28 2021.
Given all this, we hope that the hybrid WINE 2021 will be a low-risk
opportunity for finally bringing the community physically together after
a long time of only virtual meetings.
Potsdam and Berlin are touristic hot-spots in Germany and always worth a
visit, especially in the weeks before Christmas!
