[DMANET] FRICO 2023 Announcement -- August 14 to 18

Dear Colleguaes,

We are happy to announce that the 26th workshop on Future Research in Combinatorial Optimization (FRICO) will take place from August 14 to August 18 at the Eindhoven University of Technology.
FRICO 2023 aims to connect doctoral students from the following research areas:

* Discrete Mathematics and Combinatorics
* Approximation Algorithms
* Randomized Algorithms
* Linear and Non-Linear Optimization
* Applications of Combinatorial Optimization
* Online Optimization

We appreciate if if you forward this notice to PhD-students working in the mentioned research areas.
As usual, the workshop is a five-day single-stream workshop, where every participant gives a 30-minute presentation (25 minutes + questions) about their research. We also encourage the presentation of ongoing work and open problems.

Thanks to our sponsors we do not charge a participation fee. Moreover, our sponsors will provide a unique perspective on applied optimization on the Industry Day, and the conference dinner provides an opportunity for establishing connections and having fun.

Further, FRICO offers several social events, which can be used to chat, network and to get to know the other PhD students in a casual atmosphere.

More information about FRICO 2023 can be found at our website, https://www.win.tue.nl/frico2023/ .

Registration is open until June 14. We refer to the website for further details.

If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. You can contact us via mail at frico2023@tue.nl .

We hope to see you at FRICO 2023!

On behalf of the organizers of FRICO 2023,
Jasper van Doornmalen

With special thanks to our sponsors,
Ortec, Siemens, TNG, FICO, Visma-Advitrae, the DIAMANT cluster and the NETWORKS project.
