[DMANET] Reminder | Abstract Submission Deadline for Symposium on Mathematics in Sciences, Engineering and Economics is 31st May 2023

Dear Mathematical Scientists, Dear Application Scientists from Sciences, Engineering and Economics,

The abstract submission deadline for the MathSEE Symposium is quickly approaching and is on the 31st of May. Kindly register and submit your abstracts soon.

KIT Center MathSEE is one of 9 interdisciplinary research centers at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, engaging in frontier research on the applications of mathematical methods in the sciences, engineering and economics. The center is organising its first in-person symposium at KIT in Karlsruhe, from Sep. 27 – 29th 2023. Besides several plenary lectures, contributed talks and a poster session, the symposium will feature a panel discussion on the topic of "interdisciplinary mathematical research: opportunities and challenges".

It is possible to submit abstracts for oral (20 minutes duration) as well as poster presentations on applications of following mathematical methods:

* Mathematical structures: Shapes, Geometry, Number Theory and Algebra
* Mathematical Modeling, Differential Equations, Numerics and Simulation
* Inverse problems and Optimization
* Stochastic Modeling, Statistical Data Analysis and Forecasting

There will be a best poster award, accompanied by a prize of 500 EURO. For further up to date information, please visit the website: https://symposium.mathsee.kit.edu/index.php

The participation for the symposium is free of charge this time and we hope many participants will avail of this opportunity.

In case of any questions, feel free to contact us.

With kind wishes from Karlsruhe,

The organizational committee of the MathSEE Symposium
