Science of the Italian National Research Council) invites applications
for five positions in the area of Mixed-Integer Programming.
IASI is a CNR institute located in Rome, near the city center, with a
long-standing experience in Optimization and Discrete Mathematics and
collaborations with top universities in Italy and abroad.
A background in Optimization and knowledge of English are required.
Knowledge of Italian is required at a basic level.
As the projects will focus on development of solution algorithms, some
experience
in coding is necessary (preferable in C/C++ or Python with knowledge of
MIP solvers --- e.g. CPLEX, Gurobi, xpress, or open-source solvers ---
and modeling languages --- e.g., AMPL, Pyomo, JuMP).
Specific requirements for each position are specified below:
-------
1) Position code: IASI-007-2023-RM-Prot 412323, Expiration: Jan 31, 2024
http://bandi.urp.cnr.it/doc-assegni/documentazione/15448_DOC_IT.pdf
ResearchTopic: Development of mixed integer linear programming models,
models for machine learning / AI, solution algorithms and applications
to problems for sustainable mobility, shortest paths, location,
transport, environmental sustainability.
