University of Bristol, UK
Application deadline: 11 May 2022
A postdoctoral research position is available in the Algorithms group at the University of Bristol. The successful candidate will be hosted by Dr Christian Konrad (http://people.cs.bris.ac.uk/~konrad/) and collaborate with him and his team and a number of leading international partners on streaming algorithms for processing massive graphs.
The position is for 18 months – extensions may be possible subject to funding constraints. The start date is flexible, however, a start date close to September 2022 is preferred.
The applicant is expected to have a strong interest and background in the mathematical analysis of algorithms. Being familiar with streaming algorithms, communication complexity, or graph algorithms is a plus but is not necessarily required.
