Magdeburg in any of the following research areas: discrete geometry,
geometric combinatorics, convex geometry, geometry of numbers, toric
geometry.
Starting date is October 1, 2022. This is a 2-years position (in the case of
a PhD a prolongation to 3-years is expected). It is officially announced as
a 50% position, however, in the case of a PostDoc an upgrade to at least 75%
salary is planned (pending upon confirmation by the administration).
The position involves a teaching load of 2 hours per week during the term.
Sufficient proficiency in German is preferable but not strictly necessary.
