*Call for Papers*
The ACS/IEEE International Conference on Computer Systems and Applications
(AICCSA) is the premier conference covering all contemporary areas in
computer systems and applications, and hence it is an established
international forum for leading researchers and practitioners in these
important and rapidly changing disciplines. AICCSA 2022 will be held in *Abu
Dhabi*, which is one of the world-class tourism and magnificent tailored
destinations, and organized by Zayed University, EAU.
We are pleased to invite you to submit original contributions to AICCSA'22
via the official submission system for the conference
*https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aiccsa2022
<https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aiccsa2022>*. Submission may
include technical and experimental studies, theoretical studies, conceptual
studies, or surveys. All submissions will be peer-reviewed based on
relevance, originality, importance and clarity.
The guiding theme of this 19th edition is "Computer Systems and
Applications in a Digital World", with a particular focus on the following
tracks:
*Track 1:* Ubiquitous, Parallel and Distributed Computing (including cloud,
IoT, network, sensors, blockchain technologies)
*Track 2:* Security, Privacy, and Trust
*Track 3:* Data science, knowledge engineering, and ontologies (including
Information Retrieval, Big Data, Databases and Knowledge Systems)
*Track 4:* Artificial Intelligence & Cognitive Systems
*Track 5:* Natural Language Processing
*Track 6:* Multimedia, Computer Vision, and Image Processing
*Workshops and PhD Forum*
1. International Workshop on Computational Intelligence and Big Data
for Scientific and Technological Resources and Services (STRS'2022)
2. 5th International Workshop on Health Informatics: IT Innovations and
Disruptive Approaches in the Digital Health Era (HOPE'22)
3. PhD Forum
* Submissions Guidelines and Proceedings *
Manuscripts should be prepared in 10-point font using the IEEE 8.5" x 11"
two-column conference format. All papers should be in PDF format, and
submitted electronically on EasyChair at
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aiccsa2022
A full paper must not exceed 8 pages (including all figures, tables and
references). Submitted papers must present original, unpublished research
that is not currently under review for any other conference, workshop, or
journal. Papers must be written in English. The contributions should
address research questions that relate to one of the topics listed above.
Papers not following these guidelines may be rejected without review. Also
submissions received after the due date, exceeding the length limit, or not
appropriately structured may also not be considered. Authors may contact
the Program Chair for further information or clarification.
All submissions are blind peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers.
Accepted papers will appear in the Conference Proceedings, and be published
by the IEEE Computer Society Conference Publishing Services and be
submitted to IEEE Xplore for inclusion.
Authors of accepted papers are expected to present their work at the
conference. Submitted papers that are deemed of good quality but that could
not be accepted as regular papers may be accepted as short papers or
suggested for workshops.
*Double-Blind Peer Review Guidelines*
AICCSA 2022 uses a double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer
and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa,
throughout the review process. To facilitate this, authors need to ensure
that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their
identity or affiliation. If a submission is not anonymized, it will be
rejected without review.
*Special Issues*
*Selected papers* from the conference will be invited for submission of an
extended version to a Springer Cluster Computing journal (
https://www.springer.com/journal/10586), and more journals may be
announced. Papers will be selected based on their reviewers' scores and
appropriateness to the Journal's theme. All extended versions will undergo
reviews and must represent original unpublished research work. Further
details will be made available at a later stage.
