(TU Graz) in Austria invites applications for a postdoc position. The
successful candidate will be associated to the FWF (https://www.fwf.ac.at/)
funded project "Supercritical behaviour in random subgraph models'' of
Joshua Erde (https://www.math.tugraz.at/~erde/).
The position is for two years, with the possibility to extend to a third.
The salary is according to the standard personnel costs and salaries for
FWF projects (https://www.fwf.ac.at/en/research-funding/personnel-costs) --
the current gross monthly salary is 4,061.50 EUR (14x a year). The
envisioned starting date is January 9th 2023, but starting earlier or later
is possible.
The candidate must exhibit a strong background and track record in
probabilistic combinatorics. Previous knowledge of topics related to random
graphs and percolation are desirable but not completely necessary.
