is seeking a Doctoral Candidate in the DFG funded project D3D, pay grade
13 TV-L, full-time, fixed-term at the Department of Engineering and
Computer Science, South Campus, 47805 Krefeld, Germany.
Your tasks:
- Development of algorithms for 3D building modeling based on point
clouds and oblique aerial images
- Training and development of neural networks for object recognition
- Collaboration with project partners
- Supervision of assistants
Your profile:
- Completed master degree in computer science or comparable
- Knowledge of deep learning, knowledge of computer vision or GIS
software is advantageous
- Experience in software development is desirable
- Strong motivation and intellectual curiosity to pursue a doctorate as
part of the DFG project D3D
Start date: Flexible (within ten months)
The position (EG 13 TV-L) is limited to 3 years (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG)
and is full-time (39 hours 50 minutes/week).
A reduced working time is possible.
