[DMANET] Deadline for the PhD School on exact methods for vehicle routing + Workshop

The deadline to enrol in the event below is the 31st of October, 2025.

Please enrol using this form: https://forms.gle/jWb25saPdZYgpx9R9
Event information: https://seio-transporte.github.io/workshop-2025-en/

SEIO Transporte is the working group on transportation of SEIO, the Spanish Society of Statistics and Operational Research.

The SEIO Transporte Workshop will take place December 1-2, 2025, and the SEIO Transporte PhD School will take place December 2-3, 2025. Both events are hosted at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain, at the Ciutadella Campus (Carrer Ramon Trias-Fargas, 5-7, 08005 Barcelona).

The PhD School theme is "Exact methods for vehicle routing and logistics optimisation". The professor is Roberto Roberti (University of Padua), one of the world's leading experts in vehicle routing and combinatorial optimisation. Roberto's work has had a tremendous impact on recent advances in exact algorithms for routing problems with fundamental contributions, such as the ng-path relaxation technique. His work has been published in Management Science, Operations Research, Transportation Science, and the European Journal of Operational Research, among other notable journals.

You can enrol for one or both events; in any case, the price is 100 Euros.

SEIO Transporte offers free accommodation to up to 12 PhD students who attend both events. The offer is for the nights 1-2 and 2-3 December, in shared rooms at a hostel. Priority is given to student members of SEIO Transporte (on a first-come, first-served basis) and then to all other students (on a first-come, first-served basis).

The enrolment fee includes coffee breaks, a social dinner on December 1, and possibly a social activity (TBD).

Best regards,
Alberto Santini
