A PhD position at the interface of Computational Social Choice and Scheduling is available at Faculty III of the University of Siegen.
The position is a 3/4 time position (salary according to TV-L13), initially for three years, but extendable. The position is open immediately.
Required:
-- Diploma/Master's degree or equivalent in business studies, mathematics, applied computer science or theoretical computer science.
-- Excellent written and spoken English.
-- Knowledge in theoretical computer science.
-- Good programming skills (C++, Java).
Desirable:
-- Willingness to write a dissertation.
-- Experience in computational complexity analysis.
