Research Associate in Combinatorics at The Open University
An exciting research opportunity is available for a post-doctoral
candidate with a background in combinatorics or graph theory to join
the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Open University,
on a project entitled "Infinite antichains of combinatorial
structures" led by Dr Robert Brignall. Previous experience in the
theory of well-quasi-ordering, graph theory, permutation patterns
and/or relational structures would be an advantage but is not
essential.
The post is an 18-month research associateship, partially funded by
EPSRC Grant EP/J006130/1, to commence no later than 1 October 2012.
For further details and to obtain an application form, see:

Informal enquiries about the post can be made to Robert Brignall:

Closing date: noon on 14 June 2012.
