Professor level) is offered in Computer Science at University Paris
Dauphine.
Research will take place at LAMSADE (http://www.lamsade.dauphine.fr) within
the "Combinatorial Optimization and Algorithmics" research group.
The research activities of the group are related to the following research
topics:
Algorithms with a performance guarantee (exact and parameterized solution
of NP-hard problems, approximation, algorithmic games),
Mathematical programming and discrete structures (linear and integer
programming, polyhedral approaches, robustness, optimization in graphs.
The research of the candidate should be strongly connected to at least one
of these axes.
Except from application's quality that will be main priority of the
selection committee, research profiles lying in the intersection of the
research interests of the group will be greatly appreciated.
Teaching will take place within several Departments of the University,
mainly within the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science (MIDO).
