Registrations are now open for the

Due to the ongoing pandemic BCTCS 2021 will be organised as an on-line
event on Zoom and gather.town.

ABOUT THE BCTCS

The BCTCS is an annual event for UK-based researchers in theoretical
computer science to present their research and discuss future
directions. The meeting aims to provide an environment in which PhD
students can gain experience in presenting their work, to broaden their
outlook on the subject, and to benefit from contact with established
researchers. The scope of the colloquium includes all aspects of
theoretical computer science, including automata theory, algorithms,
complexity theory, semantics, formal methods, concurrency, types,
languages and logics.

Registration is FREE. Details on how to access the event will be sent by
email
to all registered participants.


BCTCS (still) welcomes contributions in the form of conference talks. You
can
chose to give a full (25+5mins) talk or a short (5+5 mins) presentation
accompanied by a poster that will be displayed throughout the event.

To propose a talk please send title, abstract and a short paragraph
about yourself to bctcs2021@liverpool.ac.uk. These should be in plain
text or LaTeX without non-standard macros.

We put no restrictions on the originality or publication status of
submissions. In the style of many Mathematics meetings, the submitted
contributions will not be reviewed (except for filtering out any obvious
spam). There will be no formal proceedings either, but the abstracts
will be available on the event web-site and the collection of the
contributed abstracts will appear in due course on the Bulletin of the
EATCS (https://eatcs.org/index.php/eatcs-bulletin).



IMPORTANT DATES

- Abstract submission: 15 February 2021 (Extended, Final Deadline)
- Registration: open until 28 March 2021
- Meeting: 29-31 March 2021
