Open PhD and POSTDOC positions
in the
ENERGY MANAGEMENT GROUP
at the
UNIVERSITY of TWENTE
The interdisciplinary research group on 'Decentralized Energy
Management' at the University of Twente
led by Johann Hurink has several open positions for new PhD students and
Postdocs in multiple recently
granted research projects within the smart energy domain. The positions
are open for candidates with
a background in mathematics and technical disciplines who want to share
and gain knowledge in the
context of decentralized energy management systems.
The available positions are within research projects focussing on
bottom-up energy management, energy
systems for local communities and neighborhood energy storage. The
funding origins from two European
Horizon 2020 projects and two projects granted under the Dutch RVO MOOI
and DEI+ programs. The
corresponding projects are all in cooperation with other academic as
well as external partners (companies,
