Overview
The ACM Global Computing Education Conference (CompEd) is SIGCSE's fourth
and newest conference. It is held outside of North America and Europe every
other year and started in 2019 in Chengdu, China. At the intersection of
computing and the learning sciences, the event seeks to promote global
computing education development. The 2023 conference will take place in
person at IIIT Hyderabad, India, 7-9 December 2023. We encourage your
participation in this emerging global community and welcome you to share
your innovative ideas for computing syllabi, laboratories, teaching,
pedagogy, and education research.
The language of the conference and all its publications is English. ACM
CompEd 2023 will be an in-person conference. It is not anticipated that
there will be facilities for either presenters or the audience to attend
virtually. The working groups will start their formal sessions on Tuesday,
5 December 2023. The main conference starts on Thursday, 7 December and
ends on Saturday, 9 December 2023.
The official publication date is the date the proceedings are made
available in the ACM Digital Library. This date may be up to two weeks
prior to the first day of the conference. The official publication date
affects the deadline for any patent filings related to published work.
Submission and Review Process
All aspects of the submission and notification process will be handled
electronically. Papers and posters will be judged for quality and relevance
through dual-anonymous reviewing, where the identities of the authors and
reviewers are withheld from one another.
For more information including submission details, see
