CINVESTAV-IPN, Campus Querétaro
The Department of Mathematics at the prestigious Center of Research and
Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (CINVESTAV-IPN) seeks
to appoint an outstanding full-time young Research Professor beginning in
the
Winter of 2023. We invite applications from exceptional candidates with
expertise in any of the following fields: algebra, algebraic topology,
analysis
(including functional analysis, complex analysis, numerical analysis,
stochastic
analysis, operator theory, differential equations, mathematical physics, and
probability), combinatorics, and geometry.
The successful candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics, have
postdoctoral or
equivalent experience, and demonstrate a strong research record as evidenced
by authorship of recent publications. The selected candidate will be
expected
to collaborate in daily activities of the Department at the campus in the
city of
Querétaro, including teaching postgraduate courses or seminars (preferably
in
the Spanish language), conducting research activities, providing guidance
and
supervision to assigned students, and fulfilling administrative duties.
