The starting date is on or about 1 Oct 2023.
You should have a background/interest in
- combinatorics
- probability theory, and/or
- statistical/mathematical physics
The position is funded by the DFG project "Sparse random combinatorial structures" on random graphs and random combinatorial matrix theory. There are no teaching obligations. Proficiency in German is NOT a requirement.
Applicants should have an excellent degree in mathematics, physics, computer science or a related discipline (master's level).
