The Optimization Research Group (https://math.rptu.de/en/wgs/opt) of
RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau is offering a PhD position (3 years, 75%
employment) based in Kaiserslautern. The position is funded by the BMBF
project "SynphOnie – Synergies from physical and transport planning
models for multi-criteria optimization of multimodal demand-oriented
transport". The successful applicant will conduct research on the
development and analysis of algorithms for this challenging task under
the supervision of Anita Schöbel. Candidates should have or be close to
obtaining a master's degree in mathematics or a comparable qualification.
