[DMANET] GAC Santander 2024, First announcement

Santander Workshop on Geometric and Algebraic Combinatorics

The Santander Workshop on Geometric and Algebraic Combinatorics will take place at Universidad de Cantabria in Santander (Spain), in January 15-19, 2024, with its format consisting of two mini courses, eight invited talks, plus short talks and posters contributed from participants.

Minicourses (3 hours each):
• Eran Nevo (Hebrew University, Jerusalem), Algebraic shifting: variations and connections
• Rekha Thomas (University of Washington, Seattle): Graphical Designs and Graph Sparsifiers

Invited talks (titles to be announced)
• Karim Adiprasito, Hebrew University Jerusalem and University of Copenhagen
• Carolina Benedetti, Universidad de Los Andes Bogotá
• Giulia Codenotti, Freie Universität Berlin
• Eva-Marie Feichtner, Universität Bremen
• Luis Ferroni, KTH Stockholm
• Michael Joswig, Technische Universität Berlin
• Martina Juhnke-Kubitzke, Universität Osnabrück
• Benjamin Nill, Otto von Guericke Universität Magdeburg

There will be a small registration fee of 100€, but we plan to offer support for young participants. Registration and application for support will open in September 2023.
