Applications are invited for the position of a senior research associate on
the "Multi-Criteria Surveillance AI-based Scheduling Analytics for Undersea
Infrastructure Safety" project at the University of Portsmouth. This
project will investigate research methods and algorithms for protection of
critical undersea infrastructure from a logistical perspective. This work
aims at developing novel multi-objective optimisation models and
surveillance scheduling algorithms with machine learning. The case study
will include the undersea pipelines that run between the UK and Norway. The

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a MSc/PhD degree in
Operational Research, Mathematics, Computer Science, or other relevant
