[DMANET] Marie-Curie fellowship in Geometric Learning

A Marie Curie fellowship is offered in the general area of Geometric
Learning for up to 8.5 months,
at "Athena" Research center <https://www.athenarc.gr/en>, Athens, Greece,
within European doctoral network GRAPES <http://grapes-network.eu>.

The topic is described here but may be adapted to the profile of the
successful candidate: Data-driven generation of 3D shapes towards
interactive design
<http://erga.di.uoa.gr/index.php/2022/12/17/position-for-phd-student-in-geometric-learning/>
.
Hosting Institute: Information Management Systems Institute
<https://www.athenarc.gr/en/imsi>, "Athena" Research Center, Greece.
Supervisor: Professor Ioannis Emiris <https://cgi.di.uoa.gr/~emiris/>
("Athena" RC, and U. Athens, Greece)

Candidate researchers must be at "PhD level" (not necessarily enrolled in a
PhD program) with a MSc within the past 5 years (the latter is flexible),
and satisfying MSCA rules of mobility (2 out of the last 3 years outside
Greece).
The fellowship does NOT lead to a PhD, but such a possibility could be
discussed as a follow-up project with the supervisor.

Marie Sklodowska-Curie ESRs are paid a competitive gross salary of 2,900
€/month, a Mobility Allowance of 600 €/month and, for researchers who have
a family, a Family Allowance of 500 €/month. All amounts are subject to
deductions and taxes.
Applications will be evaluated as they arrive for a start date in Fall 2023.

Further info may be obtained by Prof Ioannis Emiris or Dr Christos Konaxis (
ckonaxis@athenarc.gr).
