The University of Nova Gorica has a vacancy for the position of postdoctoral fellow or assistant professor in the field of computer science.

The candidate will work in the Centre for systems and information technologies and applied mathematics in an interdisciplinary research group that operates at the intersection of computer science, information science, mathematics, system theory and automatic control systems. The group develops new approaches to modelling and applies them to a variety of fields, from biomedicine to education and industry. It also develops methods for intelligent data analysis and knowledge discovery.
The selected candidate will conduct research in the field of data science, actively collaborate in the preparation of new projects proposals and have the opportunity to participate in national and international projects, as well as projects with companies and Slovenian healthcare institutions. Under the terms of their appointment, the successful candidate will also assume teaching duties at the School of engineering and management of the University of Nova Gorica.
