[DMANET] Open recruitment for PhD candidates at ESSEC, Paris

Open recruitment for PhD candidates in

« Operations Management & Operations Research » (OMOR) concentration

at the ESSEC Business School (starting Sept. 2025)

The PhD program of ESSEC Business School is looking for bright and
motivated young people from around the world, from a variety of
disciplinary backgrounds, aiming to become academics at excellent
universities and business schools. In particular, the program offers a PhD
position in its « Operations Management & Operations Research » (OMOR)
concentration.

The OMOR research cluster of ESSEC hosts 9 professors and researchers.
Discrete optimization / mathematical programming is one of the potential
topics of a PhD Thesis in this specialisation.

Selected PhD students are automatically funded for 4 years, with a stipend
of around 25200€ per year and additional budget for conferences. PhD
courses last for 1,5 years, however research modules start as soon as year
1 with Professors. In addition to the PhD Thesis, students will graduate
with an Advanced Master in Business Administration Research of ESSEC
Business School, and a French Doctorate. The course program is 100% in
English.

ESSEC Business School is consistently ranked as one of the best business
schools in Europe, with several of its Master's programs are ranked in the
Top 5 worldwide (at the time of this writing, according to QS rankings: #3
in Business Analytics, #2 in Marketing, #3 in Management).

Deadlines for application: January 15th (first round) ; May 1st (second
round).

Beware: GMAT or GRE scores are required, together with TOEFL for English.
