offering a 4-year PhD Scholarship within the project "Geometric and
Abstract Graphs: Theory and Applications", funded by the Spanish State
Research Agency (AEI).
The PhD student will carry out research on geometric graph algorithms,
studying problems motivated from robot reconfiguration, graph drawing, and
geographic information analysis, under the supervision of Irene Parada and
Rodrigo Silveira.
The scholarship is a 4-year grant including an employment contract with the
university (implying medical insurance and social security). The working
location is the Campus Nord of UPC in Barcelona, main campus of UPC. The
expected starting date is the beginning of 2025.
