[DMANET] XAI Workshop @ KIT

We are organizing a half-day workshop at KIT on the topic of explainable
artificial intelligence (XAI). Four researchers from different career stages
are presenting their latest research results:

* Professor Dr. Gitta Kutyniok (Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München
- LMU): Mathematical Algorithm Design for Deep Learning under Societal and
Judicial Constraints: The Algorithmic Transparency Requirement
* Maximilian Fleissner: (Technical University of Munich - TUM):
Explaining (Kernel) Clustering via Decision Trees
* Dr. Vikram Sunkara (Zuse Institute Berlin): A "Deep" Dive into how
Neural Networks see Data
* Assistant Professor Dr. Alessandro Renda (University of Pisa):
Increasing trust in AI through Federated Learning and model explainability.

This workshop is co-hosted and sponsored by the KIT center "Mathematics in
Sciences, Engineering, and Economics" (MathSEE).

Date: Tuesday, November 12th, 2024 from 1:30 pm until 6:00 pm

Location: Blücherstraße 17, Karlsruhe, Germany or online
