[DMANET] EURO 2021 Athens - Stream "Modelling and Simulation of Social-Behavioural Phenomena in Creative Societies"

EURO 2020, Athens, Greece, July 11-14, 2021 (https://euro2021athens.com)

Stream "Modelling and Simulation of Social-Behavioural Phenomena in Creative Societies"

Application of computational models to study issues in the social sciences and humanities has been undergoing rapid development in the last decades. This stream aims to offer a platform for the effective dialogue among researchers and practitioners interested in the integration of computer science, social science, and the humanities, focusing on data-driven operationalization behind evidence-based decisions. Due to its interdisciplinary flavor, the stream brings together researchers from the areas of operational research, computational intelligence, agent-based simulation, structural probabilistic modelling, applied mathematics, and econophysics.

The stream consists of but is not limited to the subjects of Computational Intelligence Applications in Social Sciences; Modelling of Complex Societal Problems; Experimental Economics in Creative Societies; Concepts, Models and Measurement of Social Capital; Multi-Agent Systems and Agent Societies; Agent-Based Social Simulation Systems; Metrics of Social Cohesion and Sustainability; Bio-Metrical Technologies and Affective Computing; Big Data and Optimization in Social Networks; OR and Ethics Understanding of the Dynamics of Social Processes; Social Policy Modelling and Evidence-Based Decisions; Globalization, Society Polarization, and Cultural Identity Issues; Data Analysis in Social Research, Social Processes in Health Care; Web Content and Behaviour.

I encourage those interested in the Stream to submit their contributions to one the following Sessions:

- Computational Intelligence in Social Sciences (Session Code: e17a0066)
- Web Content and Behaviour (Session Code: f673a682)
- Biometrical Technologies and Affective Computing (Session Code: 65857b0b)

by using the Abstract Submission System of EURO 2021 Athens under https://www.euro-online.org/conf/euro31/.

EURO 2021 acknowledges that virtual conferences can't entirely replicate the conference experience, which normally involves face to face meetings and networking opportunities. However, Euro 2021 is fully prepared to adjust its strategy in case of any similar situation and to convert the physical congress to a hybrid or virtual one, with main objective that the new format will continue to meet the needs of the Euro 2021 community and to ensure a viable future for the association's activities in scientific education and professional support. Registered participants will still be eligible to participate; authors whose abstracts were accepted will be published in the digital abstract book, with e-posters available for virtual consultation and industry to have a wide selection of sponsorship opportunities.

Looking forward to seeing you in Athens!
