[DMANET] Post doc position in theoretical aspects of machine learning

A post doc position in theoretical aspects of machine learning is
available. The post doc is under
the supervision of Associate Professor Kasper Green Larsen, Aarhus
University, Denmark and Full Professor Mikkel Thorup, Copenhagen
University. The focus of the research project is on developing and
analyzing machine learning algorithms in terms of their generalization
performance. Candidates with expertise in theoretical computer science
and/or machine learning are preferred.

The daily work will be carried out in the Algorithms group at Aarhus
University, but also with regular visits at the BARC Basic Algorithms
Research Copenhagen group at Copenhagen University. The project is
funded by DIREC - Digital Research Center Denmark, a national center
for research, innovation and education in digital technologies with
the purpose of expanding the capacity within research and education in
Denmark.

The position is available with a start of June 1st, 2021 (a later
start date may be negotiated in light of COVID-19). The position is
for 1 year.
