[DMANET] PhD in quantum algorithms at IRIF (Paris)

The Algorithms & Complexity group
(https://www.irif.fr/en/equipes/algocomp/) at IRIF (CNRS and Université
de Paris Cité) in Paris, France, is offering multiple PhD positions for
3 years to work on the theory of quantum computing. Particular emphasis
is on the study of quantum algorithms for optimization, statistics and
machine learning. You will work under the supervision of Simon Apers
(https://simonapers.github.io/), and be co-supervised by one of the
other permanent members (Iordanis Kerenidis, Sophie Laplante, Frédéric
Magniez). Starting dates are aimed around October 2022, but this is
flexible. For more information, send an email to simon.apers@irif.fr
