[DMANET] PhD Position in Optimization Under Uncertainty

The Business Decisions and Data Science group at the University of
Passau is currently looking for a PhD student in the area of
optimization under uncertainty, in particular robust combinatorial
optimization.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidates with a background in
operations research, mathematics, or theoretical computer science, who
completed their master's degree or is about to complete it. Previous
knowledge of optimization and programming skills are desirable.

The position is 75% FTE for three years initially, which can be extended
if necessary. There is a light teaching load (giving tutorial classes)
connected to the position. Funds for conference travels, participation
in summer schools, and other activities are available. It is possible to
start the position right away, but later dates are also possible,
depending on the availability of the candidate.
