Bioinformatik und Translationale Forschung im Rahmen eines
ONCOTYROL-Projekts (Center for Personalized Cancer Medicine) die folgende
Stelle zu besetzen:
Doktorand/in
Die Stelle ist ab Herbst für 3 Jahre zu besetzen. Der Stelleninhaber/in
sollte folgende Voraussetzungen erfüllen:
- Master oder Diplomabschluss in Informatik, Bioinformatik, Biostatistik
oder Physik
- Ausgeprägte Kenntnisse in Datenbanken und sehr gute
Programmierkenntnisse in R/python/Java/C
Die Arbeitsgruppe forscht an Themen der Netzwerkbiologie, Biostatistik und
Biomarkeranalyse. Das Institut ist international vernetzt und hat viele
erfolgreiche
Forschungsprojekte in der Bioinformatik, Systembiologie und

Interesse an mathematischen Modellen, Datenanalyse und Kenntnisse in der
medizinischen Dokumentation, Strahlentherapie, und Tumorbiologie sind
erwünscht.

For a project funded by ONCOTYROL Center for Personalized Cancer Medicine,
we are seeking for a highly motivated PhD student. This position is
available for the duration of 3 years.
The applicant must have the following essential skills:
• Master degree in computer science, bioinformatics, biostatistics or physics
• Strong database knowledge and programming skills in R/python/Java/C
preferably in
a Linux environment.
Knowledge in medical documentation, radiotheorapy and tumor biology is
desired but not
absolutely required.
Moreover, good communication- and English skills are also necessary.
Fluency in German is
also desirable. The ideal candidate would enjoy working in a
multidisciplinary environment.
