VIII Summer School "Achievements and Applications of Contemporary
Informatics, Mathematics and Physics" (AACIMP - 2013)

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the VIII Summer School
"Achievements and Applications of Contemporary Informatics, Mathematics and
Physics", held by Student Science Association of National Technical
University of Ukraine "KPI" on August 1--17, 2013 in Kyiv, Ukraine.

For students, the participation in the Summer School is a wonderful
opportunity to broaden their horizons of knowing , find out more about the
latest achievements of science, contemporary high technologies, and topical
questions of scientific and technical progress of society.

This year we are pleased to anounce three following fields (streams):


-

Operational Research - students will get acquainted with advanced research
and breakthroughs in contemporary operational research.

-

Applied Computer Science - will provide participants with an overview of
the actual machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.

-

Neuroscience - students will learn about the latest scientific
achievements of distinguished neuroscience specialists.


Social program of AACIMP-2013 involves a wide range of social activities to
provide additional opportunities for out-of-school discussions as well as
various excursions to the historical places of the old city of Kyiv.

To participate in the Summer School, a student has to fill in an
application form on the AACIMP-2013 website (summerschool.ssa.org.ua). The
decision on the acceptance is made by the Organizing Committee based on
student's skills,range of interests and motivation.

The program is advised for Bachelor's, Master's and PhD students and young
scientists under 35. We also accept a limited number of applications from
professionals. At the end of the School all participants are awarded with
certificates of participation in recognition of the successful completion
of the courses.

The registration fees apply:

- Participants from KPI: 90 Euro (early); 120 Euro (late),

- Participants form Ukraine: 160 Euro (early); 190 Euro (late),

- Foreign participants: 330 Euro (early); 390 Euro (late),

- Professionals (non-academia): 500 Euro.

Summer School is able to grant a limited number of scholarships for
participation. These scholarships are not payable in cash and cover only a
certain part of registration fee. Address the website for more details.

DAAD scholarships for students that are currently studying in
Germany (*covering all costs*). This year Summer School is supported by
*DAAD Go East foundation*. Thus, limited number of scholarships is available
for eligible applicants. More information about scholarships can be found on
