[DMANET] [CfP] Special Issue of ORHC on Healthcare Analytics

Dear colleagues,

we cordially invite you to submit a manuscript for possible publication in the upcoming special issue on „Healthcare Analytics" to be published in the journal Operations Research For Health Care (ORHC) on the occasion of the 45th Annual Meeting of the European Working Group Operational Research Applied to Health Services (ORAHS 2019). The submission deadline has now been extended to 17th January 2020. *Call for Papers*

The special issue was initiated during the 45th Annual Meeting of the European Working Group Operational Research Applied to Health Services (ORAHS 2019) held in Karlsruhe, Germany. It aims to collect high quality papers focussing on Healthcare Analytics. Researchers and practitioners that develop and use operations research in health care are invited to submit their work to be published in this special issue. Submissions are not restricted to work presented at ORAHS2019.

We encourage contributions with a focus on novel decision problems and solutions or improved quantitative decision support to already known planning problems. Proposed manuscripts should use operations research methods applied to all areas of health and health care including:

- Health Care Resource and Capacity Planning
- Workforce Scheduling
- Patient and Appointment Scheduling
- Operating Room Planning and Scheduling
- Emergency Medical Systems
- Home Care and Long Term Care
- Health Care Logistics and Supply Chains
- Location Problems in Health Care
- Health Care Delivery
- Disease Modelling and Policy
- Cancer Treatment Planning
- Infectious Diseases

We invite researchers to submit their work to this special issue as an opportunity for publishing in a high quality journal. Updated statistics on the journal can be found on the publisher's webpage. Submitted papers should fulfill the scope and adhere to the guidelines of the journal (see journal's homepage). All papers will be peer-reviewed in accordance with the journal's typical standards. Those papers that are deemed suitable for publication following the review process will be accepted for publication (in other words there is no maximum number of papers that will be accepted as part of this special issue).

- Select the article type option for special issue from the drop-down menu VSI: Healthcare Analytics.
- Deadline for submissions is 17th January 2020. Publication of the SI is targeted for 2021.
