[DMANET] Postdoctoral Research Opportunities in City Logistics and Machine Learning

*About the Role*

The selected postdoctoral researchers will engage in cutting-edge research
addressing urban transportation and logistics challenges. By leveraging
advanced machine learning algorithms, the projects aim to optimize
processes, enhance efficiency, and develop smart city logistics solutions.
The research will focus on both theoretical advancements and practical
implementations, contributing significantly to sustainable urban logistics
and decision-making tools.

Additionally, researchers will have opportunities to lead proposal writing
for external funding projects, ensuring the continued growth of impactful
research initiatives.

*Candidate Profile*

We are looking for exceptional candidates with the following qualifications:

*Required Skills and Experience:*

• A Ph.D. in operational research, computer science, industrial
engineering, applied mathematics, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of operational research, machine learning, and data
analysis.
• Proven expertise in mathematical programming, modeling, and metaheuristic
algorithms.
• Strong programming skills, with proficiency in Python and C++.
• Experience in preparing grant proposals and securing research funding.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
