[DMANET] Call for presentations for the special session "PhDs MEET INDUSTRIES" at ODS 2021, organized by AIROYoung

AIROYoung (the youth chapter of AIRO, the Italian Operations Research Society - https://www.airoyoung.org<https://www.airoyoung.org/>) organizes a special session during ODS 2021 dedicated to presenting young OR researchers to industry and practitioners. The session gives PhD students the opportunity to present his/her research work in front of an audience mainly composed of representatives of industries and practitioners.
- Each participant will have a 20-minute slot to present his/her PhD thesis
- At the end of the session a free time of 20 minutes will be left for the candidates to discuss with the audience.
- All the students submitting their PhD thesis in the period between August 1st, 2020 and July 31st, 2021 are eligible to participate in the session.
The session will be held on September 14-17, 2021, at Sapienza University Campus (Rome, Italy), during ODS 2021, the International Conference on Optimization and Decision Science organized by AIRO (Italian Operations Research Society) and DSS - Dept. of Statistical Sciences (Sapienza University of Rome).

The deadline for the submission is June 25th, 2021
