[DMANET] Funded PhD position in optimization/algorithms

The Mathematical Optimization group (Prof. Dr. Rob van Stee) has a PhD
position available funded by DFG in the area of online optimization. The
position is part-time (75%) and is limited to three years. It involves
no teaching duties. Knowledge of German is therefore recommended but not
essential.

Candidates must hold (or be close to achieving) a master degree in
computer science, mathematics, or operations research. A good knowledge
or theoretical analysis of algorithms and discrete mathematics is required.

The application deadline is 18 June 2021. The position is envisioned to
start 1 August 2021 or later, the exact starting date is negotiable.
