A fully funded Ph.D. position in Operations Research and Artificial
Intelligence is available at the University of Picardie Jules Verne in
Amiens, France.
The doctoral research focuses on a location and capacity optimization
problem for mobile healthcare units, aiming to maximize coverage in medical
deserts. The study accounts for the uncertainty in both the demand and the
availability of healthcare personnel.
A primary criterion for the position is a strong academic background in
Operations Research. Ideally, candidates should be used to stochastic
optimization and machine learning.
