[DMANET] Postdoc positions in Combinatorics at School of Computer Science of Charles University (Prague, Czechia)

Four postdoc positions (1+1 year) in Combinatorics are available at School of Computer Science of Charles University (Prague, Czech
Republic). Candidates from other areas of Mathematics (e.g., Topology, Model Theory) and Theoretical Computer Science are also
encouraged to apply.

The positions are offered by the following advisors:

- Jan Hubicka [Structural Ramsey theory, homogeneous structures, extension property for partial automorphisms]
- Robert Samal [Nowhere-zero flows and cycle-double cover, graphs on surfaces, random embeddings and random graphs]
- Martin Tancer [Computational topology or topological, geometric or algebraic combinatorics]
- Mykhaylo Tyomkyn [Extremal and probabilistic combinatorics, deterministic processes on graphs]

Applications are invited from candidates with a strong background in combinatorics or a related area, who have completed their Ph.D.
degree after 1 Jan 2017 (with possible exceptions for childcare or health reasons), or will complete their Ph.D. degree by Autumn 2025.

The positions are hosted by the Department of Applied Mathematics (https://kam.mff.cuni.cz) and the Computer Science Institute
(https://iuuk.mff.cuni.cz), located in the beautiful historical center of Prague. Prague's location in the heart of Europe makes it easy to
travel to many attractive locations, be it for work or leisure.

The gross salary of 65000 CZK monthly, including the national health insurance scheme cover. The salary to cost of living ratio is
comparable with similar positions in Europe. The price level in Prague can be estimated at Numbeo.

*Starting date:* October 2025 (negotiable)
