The Department of Computer Science at the School of Science of Aalto University invites applications for tenure-track positions at the Assistant Professor level.

Applicants should demonstrate excellent research potential in addition to teaching ability. The department is committed to fostering an inclusive environment with diverse faculty members. The Department of Computer Science is an internationally-oriented community and home to world-class research in modern computer science, combining research on foundations and innovative applications. With 42 professors and more than 400 employees from 42 countries, it is the largest department at Aalto University and the largest computer science unit in Finland. 1. cover letter including a summary of merits and most important achievements,
2. curriculum vitae (recommended length at most two pages),
3. research statement (recommended length at most four pages),
4. teaching statement (recommended length at most four pages),
5. names, positions, affiliation(s) and e-mail addresses of five referees available to provide recommendations for short-listed candidates,
6. list of publications with a maximum of five most important publications clearly highlighted.
