The Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at
Columbia University invites applications to its PhD program.
Candidates with interest in the theory and/or practice of optimization will
have the opportunity to work with the IEOR faculty members
<https://ieor.columbia.edu/directory?gsarqfields%5Bbiotypetid%5D=30>, whose
research interests go from discrete to continuous optimization, to
applications in finance, revenue management, healthcare, and machine
learning, among others. Graduates from the program have gone on to careers
in academia, research, and industry. The department provides academic and
funding support for its students.
The deadline for application is December, 15th.
