Call for Proposals for Professional Development and Career Mentoring
Activities
We would like to invite submissions of proposals for activities that will
support professional development and career mentoring of
attendees. Examples of activities are meetings for specific groups such as
undergraduate students or junior faculty, panels, and presentations.
Important Dates

Submission Deadline: April 15

Requirements for Proposal Submission
The proposals should be short (1 page in pdf format +1 page for bios) and
address the following:

What activity is proposed and its specific objectives?

The names, email addresses, URLs, and brief CVs of organizing committee
members.

What is the target audience (academics, industry, graduate students,
undergraduate students, etc.)?

What is the expected number of participants?
-
Duration of the proposed activity and proposed schedule.

Will the activity be by invitation or open to anyone?
-
Timing: will the activity occur concurrently with the main conference or
during the workshop days?

Requirements: Does the activity have additional requirements beyond the
standard AV setup? If yes, specify what you need.
