Our group is working on fundamental questions of algorithm design, with 
applications in game theory, distributed systems, machine learning, and 
optimization under uncertainty. The successful applicant will join a 
dynamic and inclusive team within the excellent research environment at 
RWTH Aachen University.
The position is full time (100%, German TV-L E13 level). The ideal start 
date would be Oct 1, 2025, but this is flexible in the second half of 2025.
Prerequisites for PhD [PostDoc] positions are a MSc [PhD] degree 
(completed or nearly finished) in Computer Science, Mathematics, 
Economics, or any other relevant area. Applicants should have a 
theoretical/mathematical background and enthusiasm for analyzing 
algorithmic and mathematical problems.
