1st Interdisciplinary Conference on Production, Logistics, and Traffic (ICPLT 2013)
Dynamic and Seamless Integration. Future Trends, Future Solutions.
March 20-21, 2013. Darmstadt, Germany

Early registration deadline:                        December 15, 2012

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Megatrends like increasing volatility, digitalization, globalization and urbanization bring up new challenges
for production, logistics, and traffic. Companies increasingly benefit from complex global value networks.
At the same time transport infrastructure reaches its limits due to rising freight transport. As a consequence
transport and mobility is constrained and traffic becomes a limiting factor in production. Therefore, public
authorities that want to tackle these effects have to consider developments in Production and Logistics.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

In that sense, the objective of the ICPLT 2013 is to build a dialog platform among members from different industries
as well as scientists and public authorities, interested in future solutions for handling the growing interdependencies
between production, logistics, and traffic and developing possible solutions.

KEY TOPICS

The two-day conference with more than 20 expert speakers from production, logistics,
and traffic will deal with interdisciplinary questions on the following core topics:
