[DMANET] Two PhD positions - University of Leicester

Two PhD student (Graduate Teaching Assistant) vacancies

Fixed-term contract for 4 years

Applications are invited for two Graduate Teaching Assistant positions in
Computer Science. A Graduate Teaching Assistant is expected to undertake
teaching or system development related duties within the Department of Computer
Science, not normally exceeding seven contact hours per week during term, while
conducting research leading to a PhD supervised by a member of academic staff.

Candidates must submit a short statement (not more than one page) outlining the
topic in which they would like to do a PhD and name one or two members of
academic staff under whose supervision they would be willing to work.

Application deadline is 10th January, and we anticipate holding
interviews on 25th January. The positions are available immediately.
